Stitch by stitch, the tone-in-tone seam of our SANTA FE strap is sewn by hand. This saddle stitch uses only a single thread (in contrast to machine stitching), which is pulled alternately from one side to the other with two needles. This creates a particularly even stitch pattern. It takes about 40 minutes to sew a single band by hand - which is only possible thanks to the skill of a master craftsman.
