Aquarius 80 N
Soldering device type 160 N Aquarius
€3,923.99*
Manufacturer name:
160 N
In AQUARIUS welding and soldering devices, the gas is in the device is generated electrochemically from water and electricity (electrolysis). The Aquarius devices are equipped with only a relatively small electrolyte reservoir. The electrolyte will be consumed after about 1 to 3 years and must then be replaced. In order to maintain the function of the device, it is merely necessary to maintain the correct level of the electrolyte by adding distilled water. Apart from that these devices require hardly any further maintenance in everyday use. The devices generate only as much gas as is consumed at a time. The highly pure gas prevents heavy tarnishing of the jewellery being soldered.
Devices with different gas outputs from 50 to 130 litres per hour are available for various areas of application.
The flame temperature is up to 3200 °C, fore example, for platinum processing where no flux is used. The flame is from virtually invisible to pale blue and can be coloured green by addition of methanol and at the same time lowered to about 2400 °C. The flame can be easily dosed and used precisely to the point by the settings on the burner and the choice of nozzle size. The time required to melt a metal in soldering/welding is, however, not only determined by the temperature of the flame, but also by the rate at which the flame energy is supplied to the workpiece. In this manner, even delicate jewellery can be soldered quickly and gently, without heating the entire part.
Technical equipment of all Aquarius devices offered:
- Gas purification/condensate separation with filter gravel
- Safety pressure limiter with audible signal
- Thermostat switch for temperature monitoring
- 2 flame arrestors
- Integrated booster container for flux-methanol mixture
- 4 years warranty
