The higher the tension of the saw blade, the more precise the cuts become. While our references 353563 and 353661 are the unbeatable "lightweights" in our range, which, although they are so light, allow for a good tension, this "Heavy Duty" version offers twice the blade tension than traditional saw blades. The frame is thicker (approx.4.9mm instead of 3.2mm in the standard version), the weight is higher - the saws are stronger and vibrate less. The blade tension is achieved by means of the tension lever. For heavy and large jobs.
