The "pretzel beetle" is legend. The VW Beetle model still inspires countless fans worldwide.
The first standard VW Beetle left the assembly line in 1946 and quickly became a hit and a symbol of the economic miracle.
Due to the two-part small rear window with central web, which visually resembled a pretzel, he was nicknamed "pretzel beetle".
Now the 4-cylinder boxer engine of the legendary beetle from the production years 1949 to 1953 is available for the first time as a transparent functional model for DIY.
200 components with a sound module with the original beetle sound as well as a high-quality accompanying book (including building instructions) make the pretzel beetle absolutely alive again.
