Gilding
Gilding is a craft with a long tradition.
Not only items look nobler, also writings and surfaces become more precious. Thin metals such as gold, silver or copper can be quickly and decoratively applied to the most dissimilar materials. As an alternative to real gold, you can work with convenient sheet metals: impact gold (brass) or aluminum / silver. Surprisingly, you do not need a lot of tools and materials to get started in gilding. With the thin metal foils you create metallic surfaces that are not possible to achieve with gold bronze paints and lacquers.
