Our shellac primer is a nature-based aid when it comes to protecting the surface of fine woods.
• The primer helps to reduce the consumption of natural wood oils and waxes on highly absorbent woods
Application:
• Apply the primer thinly to the dry wooden surface with a brush
• Let the primer soak in completely
• Let dry for 24 hours
The primer penetrates deep into the pores of the wood and seals them.
After using the primer: Process wooden objects with natural wood oil (references 361896/361897) or natural wood wax (references 361898/361899).
Caution: Shiny areas on the wood surface indicate that the application has been too saturated or that it has been applied multiple times, such areas must be sanded over again.
