The Messerschmitt Bf 110 C-4 was a twin-engined low-wing monoplane manufactured entirely from aluminum aircraft sheet metal under the direction of Messerschmitt Flugzeugwerke. The Sturmvogel was manufactured in 1940/41 at the Gotha, Braunschweig and Bremen sites. A total of 155 of this type of aircraft were built. The aircraft was initially designed for two crew members as a long-distance escort fighter, with a third person later added for requirements such as reconnaissance. The Messerschmitt Bf110 pilot's watch pays homage to the engineering skills of the time.
