ACETONE is a highly volatile, flammable, colorless, clear liquid for smoothing certain 3D printing materials, with specially designed devices such as the Zortrax APOLLER. ACETONE can be used to smooth ABS, ASA and HIPS filaments. In addition to an improved appearance, smoothing after-treatment with this type of solvent enables the mechanical properties of the printed model to be improved; improving the tightness of the printed parts; the avoidance of friction on sliding or moving parts.
ACETONE should only be used by professionals with a suitable device such as the Zortrax APOLLER and a suitable ventilation system. Because of its rapid evaporation, it dries quickly. Therefore, the container should not be left open longer than necessary.

Application for the 3D printing sector:
For smoothing ABS, ASA and HIPS filaments.

• as a nail polish remover
• for stripping paints and varnishes
• for removing resins
• for degreasing and de-oiling
• for various syntheses in the chemical industry

Precautions
P210 Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. Do not smoke.
P305 + P351 + P338 IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove any existing contact lenses if possible. Continue rinsing.
P403 + P233 Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed.
Disposal of ACETONE
ACETONE and the container must be disposed of at an appropriate waste treatment point. (Paints and varnishes)
